The Rum
Bolivar Rum is produced and aged in the beautiful country of Venezuela. After column still distillation from sugarcane molasses the Rum was aged in the tropical climate of Venezuela at the distillery.
Tropical Aging
Tropical aging is three times more intense than aging in colder climates. The heat of the tropics intensifies the interaction between the Rum and the wood. The type of wooden barrels used for aging is American White Oak (ex-Bourbon casks).
After aging we have added a touch of Cocoa- and Vanilla distillates to the Rum, resulting in a unique taste with a perfect balance between character & smoothness.
